My new boyfriend and his friends play poker all the time, and I’ve never ever in my life understood card games like that. Where or how can I learn to play. Is there a website or something so I can have a little bit of knowledge so I don’t look completely dumb next time there’s a game.

   There are numerous websites that have hold em basics. Probably one of the best is poker-strategy.org.

   Here is a site that may help, it has a lot of explanations of the game with some tips and advice.

   Good luck and do NOT play for money with them until you fully understand the game!!!
